Attention improved by meditation
Welcome to so-mindful, offering mindfulness in the Southampton locality…
Research shows the average person spends 47% of time not paying attention to what they are doing. When they are not paying attention to what they are doing they report being chronically unhappy.
Evidence suggests that attention is improved by meditation. Our ability to notice, and be aware of our experience and our environment, allows us to live more fully and regulate our emotions.
Mind and Emotions
If we are unaware, then our MIND and EMOTIONS can be high-jacked, taken off on a train of thought and emotion, perhaps down an old familiar path, that can lead to stress, anxiety, depression and chronic unhappiness.
So listen up, you don’t need to let your MIND hi-jack your experience and your life. Scientific evidence reports the more MINDFUL we are of our thoughts and feelings, the greater capacity we have to live more fully and make wise choices, instead of reacting mindlessly.
The act of being mindful
The simple act of being mindful has the power to change everything; how we approach ourselves, our challenges, our relationships, and our communities.
So join me in spreading so-mindful across our community, raising consciousness, and waking up to the fullness of our lives!!
